Preparing for the theory test and hazard perception test can take time and effort. The theory test will be taken on a touchscreen computer and you have an hour
to complete. The pass score is 43/50 Theory questions and 44/75 on the Hazard Perception, both parts must be passed on one sitting.
The hazard perception test is a CGI computer based test where you will be shown 14 virtual video clips. Each clip lasts about a minute and will contain various types of hazards, such as vehicles, pedestrians and varying road conditions.
In order to pass this part of this test to need to respond when you see a hazard developing that may result in the driver having to take some action, such as changing speed or direction.
The pass mark is 44 out of 75 and you can score up to 5 marks on each hazard.
